Visegrad Blues Band - the roots and the ideas behind

In our diversified world, music can be a uniqe media which presents to the world the unique and rich characters of different nations.

The music offers the possibilities to strengthten and improve the partnership, relations, mutual understanding and communication between countries.

Regional culture cooperation allways provided limitless developement of the human ties and this cooperation is more important nowadays as ever before.

The enlargement of European Union sets up new challenges, demands new approaches and requests new style of communication.

By its nature is the music the simpliest and therefore the most brilliant form of communication, existing in our blood from the very first moment of our lifes.

Visegrad Blues Band, the band of musicians from four countries have choosen a "special dialect" of this overall understandable language.
It is the blues - music style, with universal value, music style, that has fans in the whole world, music style, that has friendly response regardless of the people´s age everywhere.

The Visegrad's musicians friendly unity is a good cooperation example of people united under blues passion.

The Visegrad Blues Band project is not just a band of artists from differents countries playing concert tours, making gigs and recording. The idea is definetly much wider.

VBB has ambitions to become a European power uniting blues fans, inviting musicians from other countries and leading music workshops with the participation of young talentive representatives of all European countries.
Such approach apart from artistic value will have also good integrative valour.
It makes possible exchange of artistic experience.

VBB would like to represent Visegrad Region on world famous blues festivals and show the world how powerfull blues can be in uniting people.
